Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

I received my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University in 2014. I received my license in 2019 (LMFT 113459).

I respect and embrace all diversity. This includes but is not limited to cultural, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, age, faith, socio-economic backgrounds. I believe work relating to the intersection of these areas of life offer powerful pathways into one’s recovery. I utilize a combination of skills-based approaches as well as processing to foster increased motivation, engagement, and personal meaning in the counseling process. My practice is informed by attachment, family systems, narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to other approaches.

My primary theoretical focus is Bowen Family Systems. This theory has proven over and over again to be effective, not only with families, but in all realms of individual and relationship problems. The therapist must have a map to help facilitate the client’s journey. Bowen Family Systems is that map.
